20050226 / No Blue Sky

It ain't right
Feels like forever
So many changes, I stopped keeping score
But if you want me, you know where I will be
I don't get out much anymore

There's no blue sky in my town lately
Everybody looks at the ground
I've been distracted and dulled out, crazy
But the sun never looked so pretty going down
The sun never looked so pretty going down

I don't know if this was jutst because of the lyrics or if you were really sad & pensive yourself... but there is a great honesty in this photo and I really like that.

Since everyone is commenting on your mood here, I'll add my 2c. Pensive and young--and beautiful as always. ;)

You look so melancholy.

Hmmm... reminds me of a movie or something, but can't think which one. I think it's the
greenish tinge that does it. Interesting.

Wonderful lighting and treatment, Chris. Moody and brooding. It reminds me of an album cover. You rock. :)

I like the balance of dark and lighted areas!

I also think that this appears like an oil painting. I really like how half of you disappears into the darkness. The lighting is great in this image.

Awesome image, has the feel of an oil painting to it. As for the rest, hmm.. definate heart tug & echo over here. (Dares Chris to take a picture in bright yellow tommorrow, just for contrast.. was going to say red, but that was the wildflowers a couple of days back. ;))

Extremely well done, Chris.. the side lighting shows the muted expression.. the black of your shirt melding into the dark side of you. Could be depression ... could be contrition. Depends on how the viewer is feeling..
