20041221 / Bones & Mastermind

I hate to separate this gruesome twosome, but Bones is scheduled
to be shoved into a sealed box later tonight. Skulls make great gifts.

From Munktiki. Purchased at the Outer Edge.

Why in the world would you put such a lovely piece of work into a box??

Cool tiki/skull and thanks for the link. I dig the unusual/exotic!

This is a great shot. A very professional feel. The perspective provided by the slanted position of the skull is great, as well as the sense of scale provided by the taller, slimmer statuette behind it. And the lighting is perfect. They remind me a bit of statues from an exhibition of Aztec art in London lasy year, so deathly and brutal but compelling. They were obsessed with death.

Lovely gift::cough: Chris. A scull. Yes I am sure it was on my wishlist sometime as well;) A great idea of a gift, since I am sure the preson receiving it has knowledge of whatever it is you are into. I also like the dark framing of the image. Very nice.

jude scares me. As does this image!

Wait.. i'm not done. Did it every occur to you, Chris, that Munktiki is a little upset that his friend.. his companion .. is leaving?
I didn't think so..
jude22-Dec-2004 04:32
I don't know.. Munktiki looks like he's the sensible one.. the one who has to "put up" with the wild skull guy. In this position, he actually looks like he's standing patiently waiting for the skull to finish and "come along"
Great lighting. I noticed you like the darkness around the edges (I do as well)..
I guess i'm done.. :D

The tones and color in this shot are beautiful .. though I am waaay more intrigued by the skull as gift. Maybe you are just a-head of everyone else when it comes to gift creativity.
