I like how fragile it appears. the old wood and the very slim build of the rail. It appears used many times, which reminds you as Donna said of the older days.

When I was in Fort Leonardwood they had old barracks from the early 1900, these remind me of those. Very nice capture, Chris.

This reminds me of very old photos my father has of military life. I can picture people from that era on the steps. The angles on this give it an interesting perspective. Very nicely done, Chris.

I like the perspective.. it makes me want to walk the grounds and touch those things.. and shoot them (photographically speaking).. If one can glean that feeling from a photo.. it's a good thing.. well done, Chris..

I can envision this 60 years ago - young men starting their morning coming down these steps, training for a fateful day... Quite a remarkable image. Now the steps decay, the barracks moulder, but that time, that era, not forgotten. So I hope.
