Famous Kunqu aritists Ji Zhenhua, Liang Guying, Liu Yilong, Wang Taiqi, Yang Ling, Wen Yuhang, Bai Yuhui, Zhou Ming and more gave performances of highlights from its classics on June 13 and 14, 2008 at Freer Gallery, Smithsonian, with support from Wintergreen Kunqu Society, New York Chinese Opera Society and David Rolson (U of M).
I was invited to attend watching this performance and was lucky having permission to take photos of artists when they were making up.
