As always, you've given us another image that is "more than meets the eye." Light does matter, as do the approaching and receding couples, the solitary individual, the shadows and the pull of an open door to another room. Beautifully composed.

i like the way you composed it..
the two pairs of figures immediately attract the eye, that wants to go beyond but then the figure at left, makes it come back.. intrigued..
an image to wonder about.. and wander througout it..
