18th January

t'was abit wild today,
we had all sorts of weather, mostly rain though this morning,
the town got a wee bit flooded
but the streakers still streakered on through,
the newer ferries would of been off come 10am today, they dont like rain!

Weather ! Don't talk to me about weather ! I spent last night at Birmingham because all the trains back to Scotland were cancelled because of the wind. Aaargh... But good to be back north of the border. And great you got the sub finally. Was it Russian ??

The sea-wall is useless if the drain openings are directly connected to the sea and are below sea level.
Zak19-Jan-2007 08:37
I think it was a case of over flowing drains, the tide was high but i dont think it was high enough to test the seawall

Oh dear! I thought you meant a real swimming pool! He he!
Tex 18-Jan-2007 23:44
Did the wall fail or is that just a case of the drains not functioning?
Stu18-Jan-2007 23:37
So much for the multi-million pound flood prevention wall, then!

Looks a little damp. You've surely got some fair weather, tempermental ferries.
