Oh happy memories. Just to the right of the church used to be the Post Office. We spent childhood holidays in the attached cottage. It was called Stella Matutina but later changed to Stella Maris. I think the RC church owned it, Is it still there? Would love to have bought it, but doubt it would ever be for sale.

that lawn would have been nice and just the right size for church fetes, etc. in the summer.
Shame it has to go. I hope whoever buys it keeps the long windows! Not sure I fancy the idea
of a graveyard in the garden...

Would be good to see it going to a good cause, a community centre or something?

Been for sale for a while. Thought it was sad to see yet another churh up for sale when I passed last year. Add it to the toll of other derelicts on the Island?

Nice shot Zak. Looks like about 80,000? It would probably make for a nice wide open floor plan with a nice loft. Hmmmm.....:-)
