"Although it looks like a lot of smoke pollution,
VIC 32 is actually burning a renewable fuel - compressed rapeseed waste, which is close to carbon-neutral.
Originally designed to burn coal, the Trustee's switched to the renewable fuel during the 2022 cruising season.
The new fuel has been remarkably successful,
although bringing some new challenges in terms of storage and bulk when compared with coal."
