The model yacht pond was almost opposite MacNab's Brae. About 100 yards passed the Gay Queen slip. I fell in when I was a very small boy and had to be pulled out !

Again, it was along this part of the promenade somewhere but I can’t recall exactly where!

It was just past where the last tree is. Where the dark colour of the sea wall changes to light.Opposite the bottom of McKinlay Street. On a dark night if you listen carefully you can still hear the sounds of Bobby Buchanan's fiddle !!!!!

It was at the end opposite the pavilion where the esplanade ends.

Zak, question: Was the old jetty for the Gay Queen along this section of the promenade or was it further along towards the sailing club?
