This was the Primary School Building. During the blitz (WW2)it also was used by evacuees ( we went in the morning and they went in the afternoon). I remember we all stood in the play ground looking at the smoke from Greenock which had been bombed the night before. Milk was provided to the pupils everyone morning. The milk crates were stacked up at the door shown in the photo.
