This building was formally Ballanlay School House. It later became a dwelling house in the middle 1800 hundreds when the "new" school was built. My maternal great,great grand parents, Peter and Margaret McKellar Hyndman, lived here in the late 1800 hundreds and my mother was born there on August 10th 1899.
