She's a fine-looking ship. I'm just not sure what role carriers and jets have in the country's defence. Are we threatened by enemies with big gray ships and fast jets?

Bloody stupid idea to scrap the Harriers.

They could still have been used on the new carrier.

As it is, the only thing they'll be flying from that for a while will be kites.
