Thank you Kelly. It's basic, but usually requires a filter to help. You need as small an aperture as you can use...but most cameras won't stop down enough. So a combination of a small aperture (high F-stop number) AND an ND400 filter will darken the scene to the camera's lens enough to require a really long shutter speed.

This is awesome! I am an amateur. Please explain to me how this is done exactly. I do have some knowledge of f-stops and filters. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks William. I used an ND400 filter to get an extra 8 stops of light reduction so I could use a long shutter in daylight.
