Have you set Color Mode to Vivid and Macro mode ON in this pic??
Because I dont get this sort of background blur effect without Macro Mode set to ON

Thank you both. I think the color is where the H-series cameras excel the most - they really have gorgeous midtones and great color balance.

They are pretty prehistoric...and according to 1/2 of the residents of Boca Raton, quite a pest as we have hundreds of thousands of them all over town. But count me with the group that loves them - especially the big 5-foot long ones (I don't grow flowers - their favorite food - so they don't bother me).
