Thank you Vitee. Panning is very nice with the EVF - when firing bursts of 6fps or 8fps, there is no delay in the blackouts - you get a brief flicker of black just as with a DSLR's shutter flipping down, but the action captured in between is real-time rather than last-shot-taken, which avoids the 'slideshow' effect and makes it easy to pan and track small and erratic birds while in flight. The refresh is also very fast on the EVF - up to 120fps - which makes panning smooth with no stagger and no color bleed or separation.
