A small town north of Kanazawa, west middle Japan. Andreas and I decided to venture
outside of Kanazawa (where the conference was). We jumped on a bus and for almost
1.5 hours we saw the country. We had communication problems with the bus
driver as he can't speak a word of English and we can't speak Japanese. So it
was a challenge to know when to get off. The map on the bus didn't help as it
was written in Kanji... but we did make it to Togi town. As you can see, it
was pretty much deserted. I didn't see more than 5 people at the bus station.
I didn't see shops or restaurants. It was pretty much a residential area.
