A collection of wines
Making an attractive display and looking quite pretty

Shiraz
This is my favourite red wine, though Dick preferred the Cabernet Sauvignon
and bought a carton of the one that he liked best.

Olive oil
Olive trees are so easy to grow in our climate that quite a few wineries also
offer their own, or local oils as well as the wine.

Chardonnay
Not to my taste, but then I'm not keen on white wines. I suppose a white
is nice served chilled on a hot summery evening though.

Burke & Wills Tawny Port
I was so busy taking photos I didn't even get to taste this one or any of the others, but we'd been here before, so I left it to Dick to taste and choose which ones to buy.

Viognier & Petit Verdot display
There were many displays at the winery we called in to for a tasting
on the Monday of our short holiday in the Riverland. This is just one of them. The winery
has a very pretty setting with the river alongside. One can sit outside
on a pleasant sunny day and enjoy lunch and a few wines and watch the
birds and riverboats. We opted to stay indoors as the day was overcast
and a bit chilly.

Tasting rooms
Dick disappearing into the darkness :)
We were here with friends and the wines were well tasted by the
time we left.

Upturned picnic chairs
Late afternoon - too late for lunch, too early for tea.
