Following the level
On the tour we discovered that we had a lot of steps up and down, and this was just
one section. I missed most of the history happening via the leader because I lagged behind taking photos.. a familiar story eh!

Parking in the shade.
Lovely to find a big tree with a nice shade to park the cars.

Part of the Working area.
We were at Kay Bros winery as part of an historic tour, instead of just going
to the tasting rooms, we were taken around the winery by a member of the family.
Here is an outside area..
Sorry, I've been a bit off colour and only half going today. I will catch up
with comments asap.

The view to the Willunga Scarp
The winery is on a hill with a lovely scenic view of the distant scarp. We have often
visited this winery, and had picnics there many years ago when the grandchildren were
younger. The owners are distant relatives of our son-in-law, the husband of our 3rd daughter.

Wine Barrels
We decided to join the history tour of Kay Brothers a couple of days ago, a
beautiful autumnal day in one of the prettiest areas of the Southern Vales.
It was very interesting to hear about the wine barrels, how different they are
and where the oak comes from; all chosen to suit whatever wine they are
wanting to brew. Here is just a couple of barrels, but there were many
and varied in size stored in their cellars.
