It doesn't look very "sandy" like the sand we have here in New York. Good entry for the challenge and I do like ecru better too.

A good perspective, Yvonne. Personally I find the absence of any foreshore trees (or even a few shrubs) rather depressing. Not only do they add beauty and shade, but they provide stability against erosion. Some of our local Councils are sadly lacking in their planning.
