Blue and pink...

The main picture today is of Plumbago "Royal Cape" quite an
intense blue and a HUGE spreading bush. Its a house eater
but it has been flowering for months now. At present its
absolutely covered in these huge clusters of florets.

Here's a native (wildflower) of Australia - the Hakea Laurina
which can become a bit of a weed in some parts of the country.
April is the month it comes into bloom. Ours isn't quite fully out yet.
