Rosehips - Dupontii

Named for the founder of the Luxembourg Gardens, Paris.

AKA "Dupont Rose" "Snow-bush rose"
a shrub-climber useful as a screen. The
pink buds open to display a blushed white single bloom
in profusion during spring. A lovely rich fragrance.
The long-lasting blooms last well in a vase and make
a great addition to a large floral display if picked
on some arching cane.
Of unknown origin
pre-1817

other sizes: small medium original auto

I like the cylindrical shape of these hips. more like a wild rose.
