Vines and the Willunga Scarp

We've been to an "Open Garden" this afternoon, this is the view over the fence from the
garden, showing the band of green vines along the Willunga Scarp - they go for miles.
Theres a little township sheltering at the bottom of the scarp - the town which houses
one of my favourite rose nurseries - but that wasn't where we were today. Instead I
came home with a box full of salvia (for Laine & Sheila's info). Ofcourse I had the
wrong lens for a long shot as I intended taking flower shots today.

PS. WHEN we have rain this will all turn GREEN!

Here's another shot with sunflowers in the foreground

Beautiful landscape, even when it's dry. It must be really special green. I would love to see that rose collection of yours. Your photos always make me envious.

The band of green is very restful for the eye. Certainly a break from the dry pasture.
