Survival of vineyards from the ravages of a summer bushfire...

It was an amazing sight to see a vineyard seemingly untouched in the midst
of burnt out scrubland from a bushfire that raged through the area back in
January this year. I couldn't see any burnt vines and we passed quite a
few. They are on the edge of the Southern Vales Wine Growing area of
South Australia.

Here's a few more shots taken of the vineyards.

such fresh and summer colours - makes me long for our summer!
I am so pleased the vines survived the fires. Will they put on an impressive foliage colour display in the autumn?
