We haven't a lot of roses flowering right now, but this one has a few
like most roses, it does prefer our spring.

Yes, our long hot & dry summer sunlight bleaches the deeper coloured roses, its quite noticeable on this particular bloom.

this bloom looks a different colour to the one photographed earlier in your gallery. is the light different, or is it the heat?
