The bosses of the Seed Dish.

At home

This pair of lorikeets always have first go of the fresh seed, they will take on birds 3 times their size and win.
There's quite a family of them by now, and all the youngsters have to wait, just like all the other birds.
A queue forms in the trees and on the ground while this pair will take their time eating all the choice bits from the dish.
