Winter flowers

At home in the gazebo.

The official first day of Winter and a handful of flowers that were in bloom.
We don't really count it as winter until after the winter solstice on the 21st.
I'm about to start the winter rose pruning... and expect it to take me 6 weeks
allowing for rain, wind and other activities.

I like our official change of seasons on the first of the month. With the southern cold snap and our two nights of very cold our frangipanis were flowering last week but now the leaves have gone crispy and ready to fall. Your towers are ahead of mine. Very pretty.

Gorgeous boquet of flowers. Your rose garden must be extensive if it will take you 6 weeks to prune! What a delight it must be. V
