The red flowering gum tree

At home

Eucalyptus (Corymbia) ficifolia

This one is over the road near our neighbours driveway, but I can see it from my
computer room window. They have a row of these down their driveway and they are
so spectacular in bloom. I took the photo from our side of our front fence on a glarey day.

Yvonne, we have a similar tree across our neighbour's yard and several as street trees around here. The Rainbow Lorikeets come in chattering dozens, enjoying them to the full. We love the blossoms and the birds.

I love the smell of eucalyptus trees and I think they have a great smell too. A colorful view! V
