How beautiful!!! Until I noticed the Norway Maple Tree flowers in my yard, I also was going to post a Schlumbergera flower that just started to bloom in my kitchen window today. With the reverse of seasons where you live, your May in Australia would be the same as our November north of the Equator. So your plant knows its seasons. Mine is confused. It shouldn't still be blooming.
Yours is a such a lovely plant. It was also very well photographed. I absolutely love the color. It's so delicate. I look forward to seeing more photos as the other buds open.
