These are usually blue, but I seem to have scored a handful of white ones
which are apparently not so common. They have done rather well and I
have them popping up in the paths and other parts of the garden. Mine
have flowered every year, which my book tells me isn't the normal thing
for them to do. Resting the bulbs is suggested, lifting and replanting each autumn.
They are supposed to border one section of the rose garden where the very
large rose shrubs reside.
