Fa Tee Nurseries, Canton, China 1810
syns. 'Hume's Blush Tea-scented China', 'Odorata', R. x 'odorata', 'R. indica major'
Thought to be R. chinensis x R. gigantea
Found culivated in China, the first Tea rose
from that country and is probably the result
of a spontaneous cross, but could have been
deliberately hybridised by an early Chinese
gardener.
A popular understock for old roses, but quite
beautiful in its own right.
