Twisted trunk

Near where we live

Best to see in original format, the interesting way this ancient tree has
wrapped around itself. This tree grows in a paddock just around the
corner from us. Often the light isn't right, but today there wasn't any
particular light - or sun - the light was hiding behind a huge blanket of cloud.

Fascinating twisting of the trunk! Has the wind caused that?

It certainly is twisted this way and that. The bark looks an unusual pattern too.
