Smoke and our view

Not a good sign this early in the season, especially after having 12mm of rain last night!
Luckily the fire was controlled quickly - and we were never in danger.

You live in quite a hilly place, don't you? I didn't realize that. Hopefully you won't be plagued by many fires this season! Love the pretty spray of roses in the foreground Von.
