a pretty and traditional flower. Do these also come in a bright red variety? I seem to recall seeing a bright red one in my MIL's garden.

Ohhh, how beautiful. The flowering quince is one of the first flowers I remember as a child growing in my parents' garden. The quince and the white roses on the two trellis at the front gallery.
