One of my favourites, as a child I learnt on this rose, how to wire and make a rose spray and also buttonholes for males members of wedding parties. I have now taught my grandaughter this skill. But I never see roses wired in this manner these days. I love how Cecile romps and takes over, she can become a rampant vagrant. But she is on my list of "must haves" in the new garden.
