Janet Morrison

Australian bred by Alister Clark, and a seedling of the
famous Blackboy rose which is known for its exotic
fragrance. This rose was given to me by our friend
Tracy R. It can get to quite a size being a climber.
I'm not happy with my 40D for the accuracy of
colour for dark pink roses.

Canon EOS 40D ,Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8
1/125s f/5.6 at 90.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

yes a tricky shade to get right - shame I can't lend you our new Oly to see if that fares any better! A beautiful rose nonetheless.

Reds are notoriously difficult to capture accurately - and then to present via third party software. Even so Yvonne, you have a beautiful image in form, colour and texture.

I have difficulty with getting red (especially with flowers) properly. The bright red of advertising is easy, but it's these more subtle shades that are hard. Anyway, the details of this rose are beautiful. Well done.

Superb!!! V
I know exactly what you mean about color changes ~ but I still thing it's a Pbase thing vs. a 40D thing.
