The big pot is for a camp fire - something our family enjoys in the winter months
when its safe to light a fire out of doors.
P.S. I had some help to set this up :))

Fantastic. There are so many juxtapositions. Old & new, circles, smooth & rough, and good condition and worn. V

Excellent comparison, and the blue certainly adds a bit of colour to the composition. I like the straw in the background too ... it gives it that "outdoor" flavour. Well done.

Looks like the big one has been used a time or two. I guess the little one has a bit of catching up to do.
Great shot.

A leg-a-lamb, some spuds and carrots, a few onions, and patience. WooHoo! Knock up a damper in the little bluey. Get out the Chateau Collapsible and the camp chairs. I'll come by in about 3 or 4 hours. :-)))) PS. Nice 'juxta'.

We love camp oven cooking too...son-in-law cooks a mean stew in them :)

Excellent! Love that rich bold blue against the slightly weather-beaten iron pot!
Sheila30-Mar-2010 08:02
Wow Yvonne, you could fit a whole 'roo in that! :-)

What a terrific juxta image Von! I can only imagine how much the camp fire pot weighs because I know the Le Creuset weighs a TON! V
