Petite Lisette

I don't think I've ever photographed this one before, its a tiny bloom
belonging to a polyantha rose. The bush is upright and similar height to
a hybrid tea rose.

Today our eldest granddaughter turns 13 - on Friday the 13th! Spooky!!

The temperature will reach 39 again today, 36 Saturday and 40 on Sunday; it
already is the longest heatwave on record for spring here in South Australia.
Is this scorching weather anything to do with climate change?

I like the green and pale pink of this bloom.

I am amazed at how well your roses survive in the heat. This is a lovely little bloom.

Beautiful bloom, I love the little roses.
Commiserations on this terrible heatwave you are experiencing in South Australia. It must be dreadful so early in the season.
