We had to rescue a young silver-eye nestling yesterday and give it a drink &
bring it inside in a container to cool down. We let it go again when it cooled
down to 40C late afternoon in a pot of mint and when I checked an hour later
it was gone - we hope it survived. This photo is of a young fairy wren who
has discovered the cool breezes from my computer room window and is content
to stay there until she needs a drink. We make sure the bird baths have water.
