"Something or someone cute"
I thought watching a 3 year old working out how to open her Easter Egg was
rather cute, hope you think so too... she was determined to get on top
of this task with the reward being chocolate!

"Easter Eggs"
Not exactly singular... there were 2 large buckets of these to be spread over
a large section of the oval - then the children were let loose to collect as
many as they could. Its a yearly event in our family, though our actual
grand children are late teens/early twenties, there are friends & relations who still
have children young enough to enjoy this event.
We've had a busy few days, hope to do some catching up on commenting tonight!

"Close To Home"
Very close to home, its one of our holding paddocks, and at this time of year
there is only wild scabious and some late summer grasses growing here. After
the big rains, when they come, this area will turn green!

"Your Reflection"
Well, I could see a reflection of me when I sat outside with my crossword and coffee
but I decided the sepia suited the image better, so you can't see that I'm wearing
a purple top, but I am there leaning towards one of the rails. The pot with
the reflection has just been replanted and positioned on the outside table on
one of our balconies.

"A shoe/sandal/slipper"
It'll soon be time to put these away until next summer... but today the temperature
reached 25dC and it will stay this temperature over the Easter break.

"Family Treasure"
We often refer to our little Flossie as "Our Little Treasure" so I think she fits the bill okay
for this subject...but she isn't the easiest to photograph these days... as soon as she
sees the camera she refuses to pose, so this was the best I could manage.

"A fruit seed or stone"
I hope this qualifies.... a rose hip is related to the apple, and the hip has
seeds inside. They are viable when mature. Being autumn here, we have rose
hips aplenty right now, varying from red, orange, green, yellow and black.
This hip belongs to the rose called "Nevada" a modern shrub rose bred in Spain,
and released in 1927.

"Decorative Wall Art"
Well - we have our own private art gallery here, the grandchildren's art adorns
our every door.. and here is one from Kindergarten years, finger painting by
one of our grandsons - who by the way is now 19, but still shows off his "art" when he
brings a friend with him for a meal here.
Best seen in original format... I have photoshopped it a little bit.

"A Hobby Item"
Actually 2 of my hobbies featured in this entry, gardening and photoshopping a photo...
The article worked on today is a branch of my Ginkgo tree which is just starting
to turn colour for autumn.. but I've done some photoshopping starting with mono, a tint
and a few other filters - a lovely time playing indoors because it is too cold to
be outside with winds straight off the south pole!

"An Outdoor House or Garden Decoration"
My gazebo in the rose garden - the climbers are now climbing back after the severe
prune we gave them last year before the gazebo had some repairs made.
Quite a few filters used and in mono with a slight tint of green.

"A Garden Seat or Bench"
We are well prepared for outdoor dining when the family comes to visit as
you can see from these stacks of chairs!

"Pink"
Not even one pink rose is in flower, but I did find this flower, Anemone x hybrida 'Pamina'
which is quite new, growing in a large pot with a tall fuchsia.
