Enjoyable set of pictures to look at. Were the pictures post processed? And... what's the location?

Great images, good range of subjects. Looks like the lens is a keeper, no? I just got a Sigma 55-200 to complement my kit lens while staying on a budget, and I'm more than satisfied with the image quality. This one looks like a great walk-around lens.
