Grand Canyon Full Moon Hike - June 26, 2010

Down the S. Kaibab past the TipOff to the Colorado River overlook ("Panorama Point" in Ranger jargon). We left the rim trailhead at sunset and were back up just before dawn. The transparency was good but for some reason (possibly forest fire smoke) the extinction near the horizon wasn't too good. You can tell the stars are not as vivid near the horizon in some of the pics. We had a few episodes of wind pre-midnite but it calmed down beautifully. Hope you like the views I was able to capture.
