Marilyn Dorf grew up on the farm her great-grandparents homesteaded near Albion, Nebraska, a farm she says she still carries with her in spirit. An only child, she spent much time reading or exploring the outdoors, and her writing reflects her love for quietness, nature, and wildlife. She lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with her cat and dog.
