Today seven members (plus one spouse) of the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross spent half a day at Our Lady of Joy Abbey at Lantau Island. We took the 8:00 ferry at Pier 6 to Peng Chau. We then bought a fish and some shrimps (at the local market) plus a pack of Chinese sausages (Wellcome supermarket) for our host before taking the 09:15 Kaito ferry to Lantau Island. Here below is the itinerary of the day:
1) 10:00 – 11:00: Study session with Fr. Hong (The Eight Beatitudes)
2) 11:30 – 11:50: Liturgy of the Hours
3) 12:15 – 12:45: Lunch (Soup, Vegetable, Pork Chop and Rice) plus canned soya bean dace and tomato bean we bought at Peng Chau Wellcome Supermarket. As dessert we had papaya and pomelo.
4) 12:45 – 13:00: Cleaning (dishes and table)
5) 13:00 – 14:00: Fruit picking (pomelo and banana)
6) 14:00 – 16:00: Cleaning of the Prayer Room.*
The last two photos were taken at Taikoo Shing. The Ice Skating Institute is holding its two days annual competition event.

*Herbert and I left earlier and caught the 14:45 Kaito ferry to Peng Chau the 15:15 ferry back to Hong Kong.
