In the morning of May 5 we (12) visited a friend’s villa and its gorgeous tropical garden at the Emerald Valley, Mission Hills Golf Club, Donguan. After treating us to a delectable Chinese lunch at the club our hostess took us (by van) to Guangzhou to tour the Sacred Heart Cathedral*. Afterwards we spent about an hour at a shopping centre in the neighborhood and then dined at the Macau Street Restaurant near the Tianhe Sports Centre. We took the 22:15 (approx.) train from Lo Wu, Shenzhen back to Hong Kong.
