Usually Holy Cross Church’s parish annual outing is held on January 1. This year it was switched to May 2* as the parish celebrated its 50th anniversary of consecration on January 1. Over 400 parishioners participated in the event. We departed for the Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden**, Tai Po, New Territories at 8:00 a.m. in seven coaches. Due to time constraint we toured only the Lower Area and spent about an hour and a half there. After lunch at the Carnival Seafood Restaurant, Tai Po we proceeded to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the neighborhood and celebrated a mass at 14:30 before heading home.
