On 27 November 15 members plus Wallace's spouse participated in our first annual retreat at "Pontificio Istituto Missioni Estere" or "Pontifical Institute Foreign Missions" in Clear Water Bay. We departed from the Holy Cross Church in three cars driven by Fr Michele, our parish priest, Tony and Wallace at 08:30. Fr Michele held two talks at 10:00 and 14:30 using Luke 18: 35-43 and Luke 19: 1-10 respectively followed by individual meditation. After the evening mass (and Fr Louis Ha gave each of us plus autograph his book "Seed of Comfort" - written in Chinese) 15 of us including Fr Michele had dinner at the popular Fai Kee Seafood Restaurant, Po Toi O. Its a most rewarding experience. And we'll hold the event again in November next year.
