On May 14 I flew to London with my wife Maggie to visit my daughter Michelle who’s on a 6-month work assignment at her law firm’s HQ. We arrived late evening and was met at Heathrow T3 by Michelle and my buddy David who drove us to the White House *, home of our local host Boss Peng. The floral photos were taken at the back garden of the White House with the Nikkor 28-70/f2.8 (@ 70) plus Canon 500D close up lens. During this trip I mainly used the Nikon D3 + 28-70/f2.8 and occasionally the 70-300/f4.5-5.6 (borrowed from a friend and manuel mode only due to the weather condition).
* It has no street number and the only house in the area in white (others are brown). So the owner cannot change the outer wall colour.
