Due to cloudy condition we couldn’t get a glimpse of the famed volcano. We spent an hour to explore the trail near the Tourist Center. We didn’t bother to watch the movie about the catastrophic eruption on May 18, 1980 since it had already started and we’d limited time. The last photo is actually the nest of an osprey. As the tour bus is leaving I got no time to capture the creature (just flew away for food perhaps) and its offsprings (hiding inside the nest).
