Tortuguero, Costa rica

This sign says that it is illegal to take baby turtles or to dig up their nests. This is to protect the sea turtles who began laying
their eggs here this week on the sand.

to me the sign looks a bit to friendly, I hope it is successful in protecting the baby turtles maybe they should name the fine!
