Tulelake, CA

The mostly frozen aqueducts, make an inviting place for migrating birds. They nest in the fields and hang out in the water.

This looks so cool. You have a pretty nice vanishing point, though it would be nice to see that the river goes on much further. I wonder if you could have stood more upstream to make the river seem longer. The ice is brilliant, but clearly not ready for skating. Be careful if you decide to skate!
